Navigate on Autopilot(NOA)
NOA (Navigation on Autopilot) refers to autonomous navigation assisted driving, while urban NOA belongs to the intermediate stage from ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) to fully autonomous driving. Urban NOA is not only the ceiling of assisted navigation driving, but also the entry threshold for autonomous driving. After setting the destination, the vehicle owner can achieve automatic driving throughout the journey, including lane changing, overtaking, waiting for traffic lights, and giving way to pedestrians. The difficulty of implementing urban NOA is much greater than that of high-speed NOA, but during vehicle operation, there is still a need for drivers to supervise in order to take over the vehicle in certain emergency situations.
