With the rise of embodied intelligence robots and industrial automation, traditional vision systems face challenges in high-quality imaging, multi-sensor coordination, ultra-low latency, and adaptability in complex environments. To address this, SENSING launched a new vision solution based on NVIDIA Holoscan Sensor Bridge (HSB), designed to overcome these challenges:

  • Millisecond-Level Image Processing: Achieves ultra-low latency data transmission, meeting humanoid robots’ strict real-time response requirements.

  • Multi-Modal Sensor Fusion: Seamlessly integrates RGB, radar, tactile CAN/UART, and other sensors, enhancing environmental comprehension.

  • User-Friendly Design: Employs a software-defined architecture, accelerating development for cameras, IMUs, LiDARs, DACs, and ADCs.

  • Precision Sensor Synchronization: Supports mainstream protocols, enabling seamless integration of high-res cameras, LiDARs, and ultrasonic sensors.

Li Bin stated:

"Traditional vision systems struggle with real-time performance and adaptability in complex scenarios, becoming a bottleneck in robotics evolution. SENSING’s HSB-based solution not only solves ultra-low latency challenges but also lowers the barrier to multi-sensor fusion through software-defined design. This will be pivotal in enabling robots to better navigate complex environments and execute tasks efficiently."

From Theory to Practice: Broad Applications

SENSING’s vision solution has been validated in humanoid robot control, factory automation, and other scenarios. In real-world applications, its high-quality imaging, multi-camera sync, and low-latency transmission significantly enhance robotic performance in complex tasks.
