SENSING Launches FPDLink III Camera Solution Based on TI AM62A

The SK-AM62A-LP Starter Kit is built around TI's AM62A AI vision processor, which supports a 5MP (60FPS) image signal processor (ISP), a 2 trillion operations per second (TOPS) AI gas pedal, a quad-core 64-bit Arm®-Cortex® A53 microprocessor, a single-core Arm Cortex-R5F, and H.264/H.265 video encoding/decoding.

The SK-AM62A-LP also offers a Mobile Industry Processor Interface ((MIPI®) CSI-2 camera connector that can be used for a single camera and an additional expansion connector for up to four cameras, making it suitable for a wide range of embedded vision and AI applications at the edge, which can support rapid development of hardware-accelerated applications in the areas of edge computing, robotics, and machine vision.
