NVIDIA Jetson Super Platform MIPI Camera Solution
Based on NVIDIA's new Jetson Orin Nano Super developer kit, SENSING has deeply integrated and successfully adapted MIPI series cameras with the new NVIDIA platform, launching the MIPI series camera solution.
SENSING's high-performance MIPI cameras offer features such as short-distance transmission, high optical precision, strong reliability, and excellent temperature drift performance. These cameras effectively address requirements for high dynamic range, low latency, high bandwidth, high transmission rates, and privacy protection. The current MIPI camera modules are equipped with image sensors ranging from 2MP to 20MP, including SONY IMX390, IMX662, ISX031, IMX678, IMX577, and IMX283. They use a 4 Lane MIPI CSI-2 interface design, support 15/22Pin FPC soft cables, and output uncompressed RAW/YUV data.
This MIPI series camera solution, based on the Jetson Orin Nano Super developer kit, aims to provide AI professionals, developers, and ecosystem partners in various industries with a quick platform to build MIPI camera development platforms. Leveraging the powerful performance of the Jetson Orin Nano Super developer kit, developers can efficiently create various applications, facilitating learning and research.
This solution meets the complex scene imaging and high-precision image vision needs in applications like machine vision and industrial inspection. For instance, in drone applications, its high-resolution image performance, combined with image analysis and inference capabilities, ensures detection, perception, and safe flight in various environments. In industrial inspection, it can monitor equipment operation and worker activities, promptly detecting and addressing equipment failures and worker violations, thereby enhancing productivity and safety.
NVIDIA Jetson Super Platform GMSL Camera Solution
SENSING has also deeply integrated and successfully adapted the GMSL series cameras with NVIDIA's new platform, launching the GMSL series camera solution based on the Jetson Orin Nano Super developer kit. This solution provides developers with mature GMSL camera hardware and a self-developed 4-channel GMSL camera adapter board, SG4P-AP-G2Y, for the Jetson Orin Nano Super developer kit.
The 4-channel GMSL camera adapter board, SG4P-AP-G2Y, uses the MAX96712GTB deserializer, supporting a 4-Lane MIPI CSI-2 interface for data output. Developers can connect up to four GMSL cameras simultaneously to the Jetson Orin Nano Super developer kit via this adapter board.
GMSL, introduced by ADI, is a Gigabit Multimedia Serial Link™ that reliably transmits high-resolution digital video with high speed, long distance, and strong anti-interference advantages. SENSING’s GMSL cameras are widely used in scenarios requiring long-distance, low-latency, high-quality transmission. These cameras feature high dynamic range, low latency, high image quality, wide angle, and compact size. They support multi-camera access to the NVIDIA computing platform, enabling synchronized multi-camera input and parallel processing, providing real-time high-quality images for AI processing.
SENSING's GMSL camera solution, based on the Jetson Orin Nano Super, offers developers a series of mature GMSL camera modules and adapter boards for the Jetson Orin Nano Super. It also provides a driver package for research and development, supporting environment setup. Additionally, a professional ISP team is available for NVIDIA's ISP tuning, offering comprehensive image solution services to make it easier for developers to use the development evaluation kit.
In the future, the application of the GMSL camera development kit based on Jetson Orin Nano Super will provide more developers and ecosystem partners with camera development solutions necessary for long-distance, low-latency, uncompressed, high-speed, and high-resolution needs in fields like intelligent driving and autonomous machines.
